NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Metropolitan Warehouse and Delivery (MWD), a comprehensive furniture logistics provider, announced plans to unveil its National Furniture Retailer Initiative during the Home Delivery World USA conference, scheduled for May 21–22 in Nashville.
The initiative aims to optimize interstate logistics for furniture retailers through a network of 50 strategically positioned asset-based facilities and extensive operational infrastructure encompassing millions of square feet. Designed as an integrated solution for both business-to-business (B2B) and direct-to-consumer (DTC) operations, the program will offer customizable delivery services such as white-glove, room-of-choice, threshold, doorstep, and final-mile delivery.
MWD’s logistics framework includes third-party logistics (3PL) warehousing and comprehensive delivery hubs across key regions, including Southern California, Houston, Chicago, the New York/New Jersey metropolitan area, and Greensboro, North Carolina. The initiative seeks to enhance supply chain efficiency for retailers by consolidating storage, distribution, and last-mile delivery under a unified national platform.
The formal announcement will highlight the company’s commitment to scalable, customer-centric solutions tailored to evolving market demands.
