HIGH POINT — Rowe Furniture is expanding its Allteriors collection with new outdoor fabrics, tailored slipcovers and a proprietary down-alternative cushion, bringing more of the brand’s familiar indoor design language into outdoor spaces.
The expanded assortment builds on Allteriors’ April debut and includes 21 new outdoor textures. Combined with the 26 fabrics introduced at launch, the collection now offers 47 outdoor performance fabric options.
The new textile selection includes patterns from Sunbrella Interiors as well as fabrics from European outdoor textile specialist Para, whose linen-inspired textures were selected by the Rowe team during a recent design trip to Italy.
A major addition to the collection is Rowe’s proprietary outdoor down-alternative cushion. The cushion uses quick-draining reticulated foam, an antimicrobial version of Rowe’s signature fiber and water-resistant barrier linings. Rowe said the construction is intended to retain the soft, inviting comfort associated with its indoor upholstery while providing materials suited to outdoor use.
“We didn’t want Allteriors to feel like Rowe suddenly decided to make outdoor furniture,” said Bobby Robinson, president. “We wanted it to feel like a natural extension of who we already are. We’re taking silhouettes, comfort and textiles that designers already associate with Rowe and developing them to live beautifully outdoors.”
The collection also adapts several established Rowe designs for outdoor living. Adler, one of the company’s popular designs among designers, will be introduced outdoors in four sofa sizes with a tailored slipcover, marking the first time the collection has offered this feature.
The Noel Slipcovered Chaise and Rothko swivel chair are also joining the expanded outdoor assortment. Rothko combines a sculptural silhouette with a choice of slipcovered or non-slipcovered upholstery, giving designers a residential-style option for outdoor accent seating.
“Comfort was something we were not willing to compromise just because the product was moving outdoors,” said Tonya Fischer, senior vice president of merchandising. “We started with the way we wanted the cushion to feel and then selected the best outdoor materials we could find to deliver that experience. The goal was to create something that performs outside but still feels unmistakably Rowe.”
Rowe said the broader Allteriors strategy is to adapt familiar interior forms for outdoor environments rather than treating outdoor furniture as an entirely separate design category. Residential silhouettes, tactile textiles and relaxed tailoring are combined with materials and construction developed for outdoor performance.
“The opportunity with Allteriors is to make outdoor spaces feel every bit as considered as the rooms inside the home,” said Laura Mabe, vice president of creative. “We’re approaching the collection through the same lens we use indoors — beautiful silhouettes, relaxed tailoring, tactile layers and a natural palette. Then we’re engineering those ideas for outdoor performance.”
All new Allteriors products are expected to be ready to ship by the end of 2026, giving retailers and designers an expanded assortment to present for Spring 2027.
