Some study desks have a tilting desktop. Does that actually improve my child’s posture, or is it just a gimmick?
It can help, but it's not magic. A slight tilt (10-20°) brings the page closer to your child's natural line of sight. This means they don't have to hunch or lean their head down as much to see their book or worksheet.

The catch: A tilt alone won't fix posture if the chair and desk height are wrong. The child still needs feet flat on the floor, knees at 90°, and the desk at elbow height. A tilting surface is a useful extra, not a replacement for good basic ergonomics.
