HOUSTON — Star Furniture, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway’s Top 100 furniture division, has announced the promotion of Rodney Watson to Vice President of Stores. In his expanded capacity, Watson will assume leadership of all showroom operations, including strategic oversight of staffing, customer engagement, sales performance, and financial outcomes across the company’s retail locations.
Watson, who joined Star Furniture in May 2024 as Director of Stores, brings over three decades of retail leadership expertise to his new role. His prior experience includes executive positions at prominent retail organizations such as Best Buy, where he served as Marketplace Director and General Manager, and Ultimate Electronics, where he held roles as Regional Manager and General Manager.
