As part of this multi-faceted partnership with LA28 and Team USA, Saatva will supply mattresses, pillows, and linens for use by athletes during the Games. The brand is also teaming up with NBCUniversal, the event’s official broadcaster, to spotlight the essential connection between quality sleep, athletic recovery, and overall wellness.
Saatva’s founder and CEO, Ron Rudzin, shared that the collaboration offers a meaningful opportunity to demonstrate the company’s commitment to enhancing rest. He emphasized that restorative sleep is crucial for both athletic performance and recovery.
In addition to providing bedding, Saatva will engage with the LA28 committee on initiatives that highlight sleep’s impact on performance. This includes joint research projects and potential new product development focused on recovery-enhancing solutions.
“We’re excited to welcome Saatva to the LA28 and Team USA partner family,” said John Slusher, CEO of U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Properties. He noted that Saatva’s innovative approach to rest and recovery will help raise the bar in how athletes are supported, both on and off the field.
Through NBCUniversal’s Olympic coverage, Saatva will share its message about the power of sleep with a broad audience. The partnership will also feature collaborative content on NBCUniversal’s TODAY Show, including a $15,000 giveaway and a 15% discount offer for consumers.
Peter Lazarus, executive vice president of NBC Sports Advertising & Partnerships, noted that Saatva’s commitment to sleep and wellness supports athletes at a pivotal time in their careers.
Rudzin concluded by stating that Saatva’s mission is to empower people through sleep, helping Team USA athletes turn rest into resilience as they strive for victory on the world stage.
