“We’re thrilled to continue expanding across the DMV, bringing the dream of a better home closer to even more people,” said Javier Quiñones, CEO and chief sustainability officer at Ikea U.S. “Ikea Chantilly will make it easier and more affordable for local communities to access our home furnishings and solutions.”
The nearly 110,000-square-foot space will feature a wide range of fully furnished room settings, showcasing local living solutions tailored to the needs of the Chantilly community. The store will offer over 7,700 products on display, with more than 4,400 items available for immediate takeaway, including home accessories and smaller furniture pieces.
Larger items like sofas and beds, along with the entire Ikea range, will be available for online orders, with free in-store pickup and affordable home delivery options. Customers can also select Ikea Chantilly as their preferred pickup location when ordering online at Ikea.us.
The store will include a central planning area for personalized consultations in design areas like kitchens, bedrooms, and small space living. A Swedish food experience will also be part of the store, serving Ikea’s iconic menu items like meatballs, veggie dogs, and cinnamon buns.
As part of its sustainability efforts, Ikea Chantilly will feature an As-is Department offering gently used products, discontinued items, and affordable furniture.
“I’m excited to bring Ikea’s stylish and affordable furnishings to even more customers in the DMV,” said Scott Reid, market manager at Ikea Woodbridge. “We’re meeting the community where they are, and I’m proud of our continued growth in the region.”
