CHICAGO — Luxury furniture brand Holly Hunt, part of the Knoll portfolio, has introduced a new furniture line titled Onward, marking the first collection developed under the direction of Senior Vice President and Executive Creative Director Jo Annah Kornak alongside newly appointed Design Director Chris Eitel.
The nine-piece series highlights bold finishes, sculptural silhouettes and unconventional proportions. According to the brand, the collection reflects its long-standing design heritage while introducing a refreshed creative perspective. The pieces will begin appearing this month in Holly Hunt showrooms as well as selected partner showrooms.
Kornak described the launch as an important step forward for the studio. She noted that the collection represents the evolving ambitions of the design team while still remaining rooted in the brand’s identity. Each item was conceived as a focal point within a space, blending strong visual impact with refined craftsmanship.
Across the lineup, the designers combine solid wood detailing, glossy lacquer surfaces and vibrant upholstery fabrics. The result is a mix of seating and occasional furniture that emphasizes both material richness and expressive form.
Eitel said the collection reflects the moment when a heritage design brand must reinterpret its past to shape its future. In his view, Onward brings a playful and energetic spirit while opening a new chapter for the company. The designs reinterpret Holly Hunt’s established aesthetic through a contemporary lens while maintaining the character that defines the brand.

Selina Slipper Chair
This chair combines gentle curves with architectural structure. Its fully upholstered form rests on a carved wood base, and the armless silhouette keeps the design visually light. It can be ordered with or without a swivel mechanism, and an armchair version is also available.
Lucius Console
The Lucius Console pairs a sculpted tabletop finished in ring-cut veneer with elongated lacquered supports, creating a striking contrast between texture and structure.
Wayne Bench
A smooth solid wood base anchors the Wayne Bench, while a slim upholstered cushion wraps across the frame to form a continuous saddle-like profile.
Penny Chaise
The Penny Chaise introduces an asymmetrical design framed by solid wood bases that surround the upholstered seating form. It is offered in both left- and right-facing configurations.
Dent Cabinet
The Dent Cabinet stands out with a patterned exterior surface composed of recessed geometric forms. Inside, the cabinet can be finished with wood veneer or lacquer, and optional doors are available.
Oliver Side Table
Made entirely from cast bronze, the Oliver Side Table features a textured surface designed to resemble raindrops captured in metal. Each indentation is individually applied to the mold by hand before casting.
