NORFOLK, Va. — This month, Furniture Classics is marking a major milestone as it heads to High Point Market in celebration of its 35th anniversary. The company has chosen a coral-and-jade-inspired theme that will be reflected across its product displays, showroom décor, and visitor experiences.
To launch the celebration, attendees visiting the showroom can look forward to complimentary gifts and a special raffle. The grand prize, valued at $1,200, features a luxury jewelry set crafted from 14-karat gold with genuine lemon jade and chrysoprase, paired with diamond stud earrings and a clover-shaped cigar table.

The festive atmosphere continues throughout the event, with a candy station at the showroom entrance showcasing treats in the brand’s anniversary colors. Two themed gatherings are also scheduled during the market:
- Saturday, April 25 at 2 p.m.: A casual lemonade and cupcake social
- Sunday, April 26 at 10 a.m.: A mimosa bar offering three color-coordinated flavors
Michael Ricks, president of Furniture Classics, emphasized that reaching 35 years as a family-owned business spanning two generations highlights the company’s commitment to craftsmanship, service, and distinctive design. He noted that strong relationships with retailers and designers, along with steady growth, have been driven by a focus on artisan furniture made from solid wood, often using reclaimed or recycled materials.
Visitors can find Furniture Classics exhibiting at the International Home Furnishings Center, space C-502.
