DANBURY, Conn. — For the eighth consecutive year, Ethan Allen’s upholstery manufacturing facility in Silao, Mexico, has been certified by Great Place to Work Mexico. This recognition is awarded to companies that demonstrate an outstanding employee experience, based on direct feedback from staff and independent analysis.

Farooq Kathwari, Chairman, President, and CEO of Ethan Allen, extended his congratulations to the local leaders and associates, calling the eight-year streak a significant achievement. He noted that this consistent recognition reflects how deeply the principles of dignity and respect are embedded within the company’s culture.
The Silao facility provides a wide range of benefits for its associates, including on-site medical services, daily work transportation, and low-cost meals. Employees also actively participate in community initiatives, from local blood drives to holiday toy drives for children.
In addition to this honor, the Ethan Allen Silao operation has been recognized multiple times as an “Empresa Socialmente Responsible” (Socially Responsible Enterprise) by the Mexican Center for Philanthropy and the Alliance for Corporate Social Responsibility.
