Bob’s Discount Furniture, a Top 100 retailer based in Manchester, Connecticut, has expanded its North Carolina presence with the opening of two new showrooms in October. These additions bring the retailer’s total to six stores in the state. The new locations, in Durham and Cary, celebrated their grand openings with ribbon-cutting ceremonies.

Earlier this year, Bob’s entered the North Carolina market, and their growth continues as they partner with local organizations. As part of their ongoing community efforts, Bob’s leadership team visited the USO Center at Camp Lejeune, N.C., to see the impact of recent donations through their “Plushies for Charity” and “Café Collections for a Cause” programs. These programs will run across all North Carolina stores through the end of the year.
In Durham, Bob’s presented $2,500 Random Acts of Kindness donations to Urban Ministries and Sherwood Githens Middle School. Meanwhile, the grand opening in Cary included similar donations to The Carying Place and Yates Mill Elementary School.
Additionally, both stores marked their grand opening celebrations by showcasing Bob’s new partnership with Joe Gibbs Racing and NASCAR driver Denny Hamlin.
