HIGH POINT, N.C. — Luxury furniture designer Adriana Hoyos is making waves at High Point Market with her Amazonika collection, now showcased in the company’s new, light-filled showroom in the Hamilton-Wrenn Design District. Originally launched last fall in a different location, Amazonika feels entirely revitalized in its new setting.
Ben Radoll, Vice President of National Sales, described the collection as one of the brand’s strongest performers to date. “It’s likely to be the most-placed product we have in the showroom right now,” he shared with Furniture Today. “We’re seeing serious interest, especially from Top 100 retailers and designer showrooms. The finishes really pop—especially the wood tones.”
The Amazonika line includes a full array of living, dining, and conversational pieces, all made from sustainably sourced seiki wood from the Amazon rainforest. According to Radoll, seiki offers an elegant, durable finish with significantly less upkeep than traditional teak.
“The cool thing about using seiki, which is really the predominant wood species that we use around the showroom, is that it doesn’t have that oil off-casting that you get from teak,” he explained. “So the maintenance scenario here is way better. It’s not going to turn silver in two years. It’s here to look like this for a long time.”
The new Adriana Hoyos showroom is located at 117 N. Hamilton St. in High Point, offering a fresh setting for a collection that blends bold design with lasting beauty.
