Meet&CoHIGH POINT —Revival American Contract Furniture, a High Point furniture manufacturer, has closed as of July 31, according to sources.

Formerly Vision Contract Manufacturing, Revival began operations late last year following Renegade Furniture group’s acquisition of Vision in October. As Vision Contract Manufacturing, the company produced residential and hospitality upholstery for numerous furniture manufacturers as well as a large North Carolina hospitality destination. Approximately 50 employees worked at the 200,000-square-foot facility at that time.
Earlier this year, Baila Bree, COO at Renegade, a sister company to TOV Furniture, said that Revival intended to be a “strong partner and revive American manufacturing by bringing good craftsmanship, technology and AI in the future with quality products and materials.
Bree noted that the company was“launching new systems, and the whole idea is advancing technology and tapping into it and teaching people how to utilize technology and AI.”
Bruce Krinsky, CEO and co-founder of Tov Furniture, said, “Revival American Contract Furniture was an independent manufacturer and one of the manufacturing partners used by Tov Furniture and Renegade Furniture Group. As our upholstery business has grown, we made the strategic decision to transition the production we were sourcing from Revival to our broader manufacturing network. It gives us greater scale, flexibility and efficiency, while allowing us to expand our assortment and respond faster to what our customers are looking for.“

Krinsky added that for Tov, “this is about where we go from here.”
“Upholstery continues to be an important and growing part of our business, and I’m incredibly excited about what we have in development,” he said. “We‘re investing, expanding and building the manufacturing network we believe will best support the next stage of Tov‘s growth.”
Dave Pendlebury of Lincoln Drive LLC is the leasing agent for the High Point facility. He noted that the property is zoned heavy industrial and that the company is looking for a three-year lease term. Pendlebury said he expects the property to lease for approximately $3.75 per square foot per year and that all Revival equipment is scheduled to be out of the building by the end of August.
