CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa. — Ikea U.S. will open the first of three new Texas stores this year on March 11, debuting a two-level location at The Shops at Park Lane in Dallas-University Park.
The approximately 63,000-square-foot store features signature Ikea room settings designed to help customers visualize home solutions and spark design ideas. More than 3,200 products will be available for immediate takeaway, with the full product range accessible online for free store pickup or affordable home delivery.
Rob Olson, Interim CEO of Ikea U.S., stated that the new store reflects the company’s commitment to increasing convenience and accessibility. He expressed excitement about joining the vibrant shopping district and serving local customers.
The location also offers a full Swedish food experience, featuring favorites such as meatballs, plant balls, hot dogs, and veggie dogs for in-store dining or take-home enjoyment.
Ben Sandoval, Market Manager for Ikea U.S., shared enthusiasm for the upcoming grand opening and the opportunity to connect with the Dallas community. The March 11 celebration will begin at 8 a.m. with giveaways, coffee, and cinnamon buns, with doors opening to customers at 10 a.m.
Ikea’s additional 2026 Texas openings include Rockwall in the Dallas-Fort Worth market and Webster in Houston. Upon completion, Ikea will operate 10 showrooms across Texas.
