Here are the simple steps to safely separate a bunk bed into two single beds:

1. Prepare: Take off all sheets, blankets, and mattresses from both beds.

2. Remove Attached Parts: Unscrew and take off the ladder and the safety rails from the top bunk.

3. Separate the Beds (Need Help)

• Find where the top and bottom beds are connected. You will see bolts or wooden pegs (dowels).
• With another person helping you, unscrew all the bolts or lift the top bed straight up off the pegs.
• Carefully lift the top bed frame off and set it aside.

4. Set Up the Two Beds

• Move the two bed frames to their new spots.
• If one bed looks unfinished (like it's missing a headboard), you might need to swap parts so both look complete.
