What are the standard mattress sizes for bunk beds? I want to make sure I buy the right one.
The vast majority of bunk beds are designed for Twin-size mattresses (38" x 75"). This is the standard for both beds in a "Twin-over-Twin" bunk. Some models may use a Full-size mattress (53" x 75") on the bottom in a "Twin-over-Full" configuration. Always measure your bunk bed's frame before buying.
Common Bunk Bed Mattress Sizes:
- Twin: 38" W x 75" L (Most common for top bunks)
- Twin XL: 38" W x 80" L (For taller kids/teens on top bunks)
- Full (Double): 54" W x 75" L (Often used for the bottom bunk)
