Why Is Only One Side of My Standing Desk Going Up?

My standing desk was working fine yesterday, but now it’s lifting unevenly. Any idea why is only one side of my standing desk going up instead of both sides?

If only one side of your standing desk is going up, the most common causes are a loose motor connection, a misaligned drive shaft, a synchronization issue with the control box, or a faulty motor on one side.

Start by checking that all power and motor cables are securely connected, then perform the desk's reset procedure to resynchronize both lifting columns.

Uneven weight distribution, obstructions, or excessive loads can also cause one side to stop moving. If the problem persists after a reset, the motor or control box may need to be repaired or replaced.
