To comply with ADA standards, a reception desk should have at least one section with a counter height no more than 36 inches, and provide a clear floor space of at least 30 inches × 48 inches.
Knee clearance should be at least 27 inches high and 19 inches deep, with a toe clearance of at least 9 inches, ensuring wheelchair users can comfortably approach, interact, and handle documents.
