My standing desk suddenly says “LOC” and won’t move — how to unlock a standing desk that says LOC?
If a standing desk displays “LOC,” it usually means the keypad lock or child lock is activated and can be cleared by holding the unlock button or a key combination for 5–10 seconds.
On most models, try pressing and holding the “M” (Memory) button or both the up and down arrows (▲▼) simultaneously for about 5 seconds; some brands require holding only the down arrow.
If the desk remains locked, unplug it for 30 seconds and restart the controller. While the exact steps vary by manufacturer, “LOC” almost always indicates a locked control panel rather than a hardware malfunction.
