My chair tilts unevenly. Is the base broken or just loose?
A wobbly chair usually has one of three causes. Here's how to diagnose and fix each:

| Gas Cylinder Issue | Cylinder moves within base | May need cylinder replacement if base socket is worn |
Quick Test:
Remove casters and set base on flat surface
If base rocks, it's bent—replace it
If base is flat, check caster heights
Still wobbly? Tighten all chair-to-mechanism bolts
Most wobbles are fixed by simply tightening bolts or replacing one worn caster.
