Does Goodwill take filing cabinets? I’m trying to donate an old office filing cabinet that’s still usable.
Not necessarily, but most Goodwill locations do not accept large metal filing cabinets.
Because filing cabinets are bulky, costly to handle, and often difficult to resell, many stores choose not to take them.
Some locations may accept small wooden or portable filing cabinets if they are in good condition and free of significant damage.
It's best to contact your local Goodwill before donating, as acceptance policies vary by location.
