DIETERICH, Ill. — Family-owned retailer Wright’s Furniture & Flooring opened a new Wright at Home store in Effingham, Ill., on Sept. 28, expanding its showroom space and product displays.
Located at 307 S. Willow St., the new store sits across from the retailer’s former Effingham location, which is scheduled for removal as part of an expansion of Fayette Road. The new showroom adds 3,000 square feet compared with the previous store, allowing the company to expand its flooring and window shade displays.
“We couldn’t be more excited to continue to serve Effingham in a newer and improved space,” said Taylor Wright, who oversees residential and commercial design across Wright’s Furniture locations. “We are opening our doors in a new building with a showroom that is bigger and better, but with the same commitment we have provided for nearly 150 years. This will be a significant day, and we look forward to sharing it with our community.”
The expanded space is part of the retailer’s effort to better serve customers with a broader showroom experience while maintaining its community-focused approach.
“As we enter a new chapter, we are excited to continue to meet our customers’ individual needs and expand on what we can offer them,” Wright said. “With a community-focused approach, this milestone marks a significant step forward in providing our customers the best quality of service.”
Wright’s will host a “Business After Hours” event on Oct. 29, inviting chamber members to visit the new store and explore its offerings.
Wright’s Furniture & Flooring is a fifth-generation, family-owned retailer that has been in business for 137 years. In addition to its Effingham store and flagship location in Dieterich, Ill., the company operates stores in Robinson and Taylorsville, Ill.
