BOSTON — Wayfair will open a new large-format retail store in Cincinnati next year, accelerating the online home furnishing retailer’s expansion into high-impact markets across the United States.
The store will be located at 4825 Marburg Avenue within the Center of Cincinnati, a major retail destination at the intersection of Interstate 71 and Route 562. The 130,000-square-foot, single-level space sits in a high-traffic corridor connecting key retail hubs.
Liza Lefkowski, Vice President of Merchandising and Stores at Wayfair, stated that Cincinnati represents an exciting market not only for its strong retail environment but also for its reach across the broader tri-state region. She expressed enthusiasm for serving customers across Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.
The Cincinnati location will become Wayfair’s second store in Ohio, joining previously announced locations including Wilmette, Illinois; Atlanta; Denver; Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Columbus, Ohio; and Westchester, New York.
The store will feature Wayfair’s extensive assortment across furniture, décor, housewares, and appliances, alongside curated Wayfair Verified products and complimentary design services. Many items will be available for immediate take-home, while larger pieces such as sofas, dining sets, and outdoor furniture can be delivered quickly through Wayfair’s logistics network.
Wayfair also operates smaller-format stores under brands including AllModern and Joss & Main. The company’s brick-and-mortar expansion aligns with its commitment to expanding its omnichannel presence and meeting customers wherever they choose to shop for home.
