PLYMOUTH, England – Luxury mattress manufacturer Vispring is proceeding with plans to open 17 retail locations within the United States during the current year. This strategic expansion aims to increase the brand’s growth in the U.S. market by 50%.
The British company confirmed its commitment to this growth initiative despite ongoing discussions regarding potential U.S. tariffs on imported goods.
Martin Gill, Vispring’s Managing Director, stated that the recently proposed tariffs are not considered a primary concern for the luxury segment. He emphasized that discerning consumers consistently prioritize quality, handmade products. Gill highlighted that Vispring mattresses, meticulously handcrafted in the company’s UK facilities, offer distinct value in the marketplace.
Vispring’s expansion plan includes six dedicated, branded stores across the U.S. An initial location launched earlier this year in Orange County, California. Additional dedicated stores are scheduled to open in New York City and Dallas within the current month, followed by Denver, Washington D.C., and San Diego locations in the autumn. Complementing these flagship stores, Vispring has secured agreements with eleven retail partners to establish dedicated “shop-in-shop” presentations for its products.
“Our presence and momentum in the U.S. market are at an unprecedented level, and we are investing with strong confidence,” Gill remarked. “These new retail outlets demonstrate the rising consumer demand for authentic, high-quality sleep solutions and reflect our dedication to meeting that demand.”
Beyond the United States, Vispring distributes its handcrafted mattresses in 58 countries globally. Owned by Spain’s Flex Group, Vispring operates as a sister company to E.S. Kluft & Co.
