BOSTON – Spring Air International recently hosted its annual summit for North American manufacturing partners, gathering over 30 executives to discuss the company’s plans for its 100th anniversary and future growth.
Founded in 1926, Spring Air will officially mark its centennial at the Las Vegas Winter Market in January, unveiling an exciting new range of products and promotions. The summit agenda included updates on Spring Air’s new sleep accessories line, digital marketing strategies, and its expanding presence in the hospitality sector.

Nick Bates, President and CEO of Spring Air, expressed enthusiasm about the meeting’s energy, highlighting the unique collaboration among the company’s independent licensees. “What makes these meetings so special is the level of engagement from our licensees. When we bring our experienced businesspeople together for a day of work, the collaboration is truly electric,” Bates said. He also noted that the company’s upcoming 100th anniversary celebration will bring significant benefits to customers. “It’s rare for a brand to reach the 100-year mark with such strong momentum behind it,” Bates added.
Among the new licensees attending was John Larsen, CEO of Sound Sleep in Lacey, Wash. – Spring Air’s newest partner. Larsen, who has a long history in the industry, praised the summit’s knowledge-sharing environment. “I’ve been part of many industry groups, but the level of expertise and collaboration here is unmatched,” he said.
Biscayne Bedding, based in Florida, joined the Spring Air network earlier this year, and CEO Jan Wettergren was equally impressed with the summit. “The experience here is remarkable,” Wettergren noted. “Nick and his team really know how to work with their licensees, and the new products, especially the accessories, are very exciting.”
Since its founding, Spring Air has built a reputation for quality, luxury, and innovation with brands like Back Supporter, Four Seasons, Nature’s Rest, and Chattam & Wells. Bates emphasized the company’s ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional value across all price points. “We’ve made significant contributions to the industry over the last century, and with the new initiatives we’re unveiling in Las Vegas, we’re looking ahead to the next several decades of growth and success,” he said.
