NEW YORK — Rimadesio, the luxury Italian brand, is presenting its “Becoming” collection for the first time in the United States at NYCxDesign 2026. The collection coincides with the company’s 70th anniversary and features new furnishings, systems, materials, and finishes conceived by Art Director Giuseppe Bavuso.
The Becoming collection represents the brand’s evolving identity and distinctive presence within the contemporary design landscape.
Key pieces include:
Althea, a bergère chair featuring an interplay of stainless steel, upholstery, and leather.
Ascot, a reinterpretation of the armchair that balances visual lightness with structural solidity.
Wabi stool, which reinterprets East Asian and Nordic aesthetics with artisanal rope and leather details.
Additional offerings include:
Self Blade, a modular shelving system balancing freestanding and resting elements.
The Lambda table in three dramatic new variations, including a bi-material version with a transparent glass top and a lacquered marble, wooden, or terrae base.
Syncro, a sophisticated panel system available on two, three, or four-way rails that slide simultaneously.
Cover Sign, an airy aluminum hinge door.
Originally presented during Milan Design Week 2026 at the brand’s flagship store on Via Visconti di Modrone, Becoming is now being shown to the U.S. market this week at NYCxDesign.
