COMO, Italy – The 33rd Proposte exhibition, a leading international showcase for furnishing fabrics, curtains, trimmings, and wall coverings, concluded successfully, attracting a diverse global audience.
Over its three-day run, which ended on May 7, the event welcomed more than 2,500 buyers—a 5% increase compared to last year. Visitors came primarily from Italy, the UK, the United States, Germany, and France.
This year’s edition featured 87 exhibitors from 14 countries, carefully chosen for the excellence of their collections and their innovative approach to emerging market trends.

In partnership with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the ICE-Italian Trade Agency, the expo hosted 51 international buyers and 16 press representatives from 23 nations.
Massimo Mosiello, Proposte director, highlighted that while rising attendance is encouraging, the focus remains on fostering meaningful connections throughout the event.
Looking forward, Proposte 2027 is scheduled for May 4-6 at Villa Erba in Cernobbio, maintaining its tradition as a premier platform for the global furnishing textiles industry.
