Under the leadership of its fourth-generation management, Natco Home is further strengthening its domestic rug manufacturing operations to enhance production efficiency and speed.
At its Sanford, Maine headquarters, the company has added a high-speed loom to its facilities and is expecting a second 5-meter loom by year-end. In addition, Natco has acquired a new 5-meter backing line, set to significantly expand its production capabilities, particularly for larger area rugs.

Meanwhile, the Dalton, Ga. site continues to focus on improving its tufting and finishing processes.
Earlier this year, following the acquisition of Orian Rugs, Natco has successfully integrated Orian’s top-selling designs into its U.S.-made power-loomed collections.
During the New York Home Fashions Market, the company is showcasing these new designs under the Cozy Plush umbrella, including three collections: Stonington, Structures, and Oklahoma. These collections feature plush, high-pile rugs made with exceptionally soft yarns, which have been performing “exceptionally well” in retail, according to Michelle LaRovere, president of Natco Home Products – Textiles.
“With the fresh designs brought in from our Orian acquisition, we’re confident they will resonate with our customers. We’re introducing 50 new patterns, all proudly crafted in the U.S., which we believe will truly appeal to our clientele,” LaRovere shared.
Additionally, Natco is launching a new U.S.-made custom-size runner program, offering 40 designs in two widths (27” and 33”). The program also includes matching rugs in 5’x8′ and 8’x10′ sizes, as well as stair treads. This initiative aims to provide customers with greater variety for their home spaces.
“As the last remaining U.S.-based woven rug manufacturer, we are committed to ongoing investments in new looms and high-speed finishing equipment,” LaRovere added. “The significance of products made in the USA has never been clearer, and we are determined to continue expanding our capabilities to meet the growing demand for domestically-produced rugs.”
The company’s New York showroom is located at 411 5th Ave., 2nd Floor.
