NEW YORK – Mohawk Home is leaning into the growing demand for eco-friendly, design-forward doormats by broadening its domestic manufacturing capabilities and rolling out innovative new products.
The company’s doormat category has been seeing steady gains as consumers place greater emphasis on sustainable materials, durability, and style. Mohawk is answering that call with expanded U.S.-based production and three new constructions debuting at the New York Home Fashions Market.
“The doormat market continues to grow, fueled by consumer awareness of sustainable materials while keeping a close eye on quality and design,” said Bart Hill, senior vice president of Mohawk Home. “We’re also seeing rising digital sales, product variety, and enhanced functionality with sustainability at the forefront.”
The new offerings include:
Rugged Entry Mats – A proven bestseller for commercial and utility use, Rugged Entry has been redesigned for U.S. production. Made from recycled tires and bottles, the mats are now twice as heavy as their imported counterparts and deliver a 10% cost reduction.
Faux Coir / All-Weather Mats – Mohawk Home’s top-selling style for the past three years, Faux Coir provides a durable, all-weather alternative to natural coir. Produced domestically from recycled materials, these mats can feature designs in up to eight colors, scrape dirt more effectively, retain moisture, and resist shedding or fading over time.
Ever Weave Kitchen-Comfort Mats – Aimed at the premium market, Ever Weave combines luxurious woven vinyl surfaces—mimicking sisal, rattan, and jacquard designs—with a half-inch cushioned backing and molded edging for comfort and sophistication in the kitchen.
Across the collection, Mohawk Home underscores three key pillars: U.S.-based manufacturing, eco-conscious materials, and long-lasting performance.
Mohawk Home’s corporate showroom is located in Manhattan at 125 West 25th Street, between 6th and 7th Avenues.
