NEW YORK — Meridian Furniture is expanding one of its fastest-growing product categories with the introduction of 20 new bar and counter stool SKUs at this month‘s Las Vegas Market, in space B-101.
The new introductions incorporate materials such as velvet upholstery, brushed brass iron and solid wood finishes, creating statement pieces designed for everyday use in both residential and commercial settings, reflecting Meridia‘s strategy of moving beyond the neutral looks that have traditionally dominated the category.

The introductions build on growing momentum for the category. “Bar and counter stools are becoming essential lifestyle furnishings in modern homes, and our ability to deliver elevated, design-driven styles at highly competitive price points continues to set us apart,” said Michael Rosilio, president of Meridian Furniture. He added that the products are stocked and available for immediate delivery, allowing dealers to respond quickly to consumer demand.
Among the products debuting in Las Vegas is the Ferro performance fabric upholstered bar stool, featuring white performance fabric upholstery paired with brushed brass forged iron legs.
The company is also introducing the Arienzo velvet performance fabric upholstered counter stool, an Art Deco-inspired design with green velvet upholstery, a rounded backrest and walnut-finished solid wood legs.
Another addition is the Axis linen textured fabric upholstered counter stool, which combines beige linen-textured upholstery with brushed brass iron legs.
The company also differentiates itself through a product development cycle that extends beyond the industry‘s traditional market calendar. Rather than limiting introductions to the major spring and fall furniture markets, Meridian adds new designs to the “New Products” section of its website every seven to 14 days, giving retailers a steady flow of fresh merchandise throughout the year.
“Design is at the forefront of how we develop our collections, and our bar stools with lasting durability can enhance the look and feel of any space,” Rosilio said. “Nearly 95% of the company‘s product line, including most of its bar stools, meets commercial and hospitality-grade standards for high-traffic environments.”
