Meet&CoORLANDO, Fla. – South Korean specialty materials manufacturer Kolon Industries is set to unveil a cutting-edge mattress fabric next week in collaboration with The Lenzing Group.
The new premium fabric, marketed under the name Tencel|Forpe, combines Kolon’s proprietary cooling fiber technology with Lenzing’s sustainable Tencel Lyocell fibers. This innovative blend offers exceptional softness while efficiently managing moisture, enhancing both comfort and sleep quality.
Kolon’s Forpe fiber, designed to lower skin temperature by 3°C to 6°C on contact, is engineered for high-performance cooling. Lenzing’s Tencel fibers, derived from responsibly sourced wood, contribute sustainability and a naturally gentle feel to the textile.
