Meet&CoMEBANE, N.C. – Kingsdown, a luxury bedding manufacturer, has been appointed as the official Canadian licensee for Scott Brothers Global, a company founded by TV personalities Drew and Jonathan Scott of Property Brothers. As part of this collaboration, Kingsdown will begin distributing a selection of branded mattresses to prominent Canadian retailers starting this month. The debut products will include the Scott Living by Drew & Jonathan collection at The Brick, and the Drew & Jonathan Home collection at Tepperman’s.
Kingsdown’s Chairman, Mike James, expressed excitement about the partnership, highlighting that the Scott Living collection blends design and functionality—qualities the Scott brothers, originally from Alberta, have embodied in their career. James further noted that the Scott brothers’ global appeal and their dedication to quality align well with Kingsdown’s values.
The Scott brothers began their mattress line in 2018, quickly making it one of their most successful licensed categories. Drew and Jonathan Scott shared their enthusiasm about bringing their brand to Canada, stating that their journey started there 15 years ago with the launch of their TV careers. They also emphasized how the partnership with Kingsdown, known for its longstanding relationships with Canadian retailers, presents a significant growth opportunity.
Kingsdown CEO, Frank Hood, also praised the partnership, noting that combining Kingsdown’s advanced production capabilities with the power of the Scott brothers’ globally recognized brands offers great potential for success.
