DOVER, Del. — Bauen, the children’s furniture maker celebrated for blending safety, durability and modern design, is broadening its reach with new retail distribution and a dedicated trade initiative. The brand has secured a partnership with Maisonette and is rolling out its products in select physical stores across the country.
In addition, the company is introducing the Bauen Trade Program, created for interior designers and commercial clients looking for elevated, family-friendly furnishings.
Founded in early 2025, Bauen has quickly stood out with its patent-pending, tip-resistant seating, easy-clean tables and designs crafted for both indoor and outdoor use. All pieces are produced in the U.S. from non-toxic materials that meet strict EU standards.

“We started Bauen to create the children’s furniture we wished we had,” said co-founder Lynn Rouse. “Families have embraced our approach to safer, more adaptable pieces they’re proud to keep on display.”
Rouse added that expanding into retail and trademarks marks an exciting next step for the brand. “Our collaborations with Maisonette, new store partners and the launch of our trade program allow us to make Bauen more accessible to more families.”
