LOS ANGELES — Joybird, a subsidiary of La-Z-Boy Inc., has unveiled an exclusive collection inspired by Pantone’s Color of the Year 2026. In partnership with Pantone, the global authority on color standards, Joybird introduces a stunning range of furniture that features two signature hues: Cloud Dancer (Pantone 11-4201), a serene, billowy white, and Aquatic (Pantone 14-4510), a soothing blue-green reminiscent of water and sky.

These colors will be reflected in a variety of fabrics across over 300 contemporary furniture pieces. According to Gifty Walker, Joybird’s senior director and general manager, Cloud Dancer is designed to evoke tranquility in an often chaotic world, offering a moment to “center” and find calm. She emphasizes that this collaboration combines understated elegance with luxurious textures to create a peaceful, yet provocative atmosphere.
Pantone also notes that the collection aligns with the growing demand for harmony and relaxation, bringing a sense of balance into everyday living spaces. Key fabrics in the collection include Soul and Karina, both selected for their rich, tactile textures. The colors also appear in Nepal and Sorrento, each offering a luxurious, inviting feel.
The collection extends beyond furniture to include an array of curated accessories such as lamps, rugs, and wall decor, designed to further elevate the serene ambiance. Joybird is rolling out the collaboration through an integrated marketing strategy, including online promotions, social media campaigns, influencer partnerships, and in-person showroom experiences across 15 locations nationwide.
Customers can immerse themselves in the tranquil aesthetics of the collection, with select showrooms—such as those in SoHo, Chicago, Austin, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles—featuring large, floor-to-ceiling displays designed to evoke the collection’s calming vibes.
