MARTINSVILLE, Va. — A well-known lifestyle brand is making its entry into home furnishings at this fall’s High Point Market.
Hooker Furnishings has announced a new global partnership with Margaritaville, unveiling an exclusive furniture collection inspired by the laid-back world of Jimmy Buffett. The debut will take place in October at High Point Market.
This collaboration spans several divisions of Hooker Furnishings, including Hooker Furniture, Hooker Upholstery, Sunset West, HF Custom, Bradington-Young, and H Contract.
According to the company, the Margaritaville collection is more than just a line of furniture—it’s designed to offer a full lifestyle experience, aligning with growing consumer demand for immersive home environments.
“This isn’t just a furniture collection — it’s a fully immersive brand experience,” said Jeremy Hoff, CEO of Hooker Furnishings. With nearly 80% brand recognition, he noted, Margaritaville resonates strongly with consumers across diverse demographics. He emphasized that the brand’s appeal goes beyond coastal themes, reflecting a broader sense of escape and relaxation—whether in a city loft or mountain cabin.
The collection is organized into four distinct style themes, each crafted for specific regional and lifestyle preferences:
Island Reserve – Coastal casual with durable performance fabrics and textured finishes for indoor-outdoor versatility.
JWB Signature – A refined mix of woods, leathers, and elevated finishes inspired by Jimmy Buffett’s personal interests.
Paradise Valley – A rustic, nature-driven aesthetic tailored to mountain and non-coastal settings, offering a luxurious yet grounded feel.
St. Somewhere – Bold, colorful, and expressive pieces reflecting the spirited Caribbean lifestyle.
To enhance retail engagement, Hooker Furnishings is launching the Margaritaville Experiential Display Program, aimed at creating emotional connections with shoppers while boosting store traffic. The furniture will be merchandised alongside Margaritaville-branded products such as lighting, rugs, mirrors, bedding, décor, and more from additional licensing partners.
Kicking off the launch, Margaritaville and Hooker Furnishings will co-host the High Point Market Authority’s Saturday night concert, featuring the iconic Coral Reefer Band—founded by Jimmy Buffett—to bring the brand’s relaxed, beachy vibe to life.
“Margaritaville is more than a destination; it’s a state of mind,” said Scott Coble, director of consumer products licensing at Margaritaville. He explained that the new collection brings this lifestyle into the home, blending comfort, design, and emotional resonance that fans have come to expect.
The collection will be showcased in a new 14,000-square-foot Margaritaville-branded showroom space on the third floor of Showplace. The space was designed in partnership with The McBride Design Group, a long-time collaborator with Margaritaville for over 25 years.
