Meet&CoFurniture Mart USA is gearing up for the holiday shopping surge with the launch of its newest location in Ames, Iowa, set to open Tuesday, Nov. 25. The timing positions the retailer perfectly for Black Friday and the season’s peak buying period.
The 91,000-square-foot showroom sits at 329 SE 5th St., strategically placed between Target and Walmart in southeast Ames. This marks the city’s first full-service furniture store in more than twenty years, bringing expanded home furnishings options to the community surrounding Iowa State University.

“We’ve heard from many residents who have been waiting for this moment, and we’re thrilled to finally welcome them in,” said Bryan Whitt, store manager for the Ames location. “Our assortment is outstanding, and visitors will also have a chance to enter a drawing for a $10,000 home makeover package.”
The new store features a broad portfolio of well-known furniture and mattress brands, including Ashley, La-Z-Boy, Flexsteel, England, Purple, Beautyrest, Tempur-Pedic and the latest line from Joybird. Approximately 20 employees will staff the location, covering sales, warehouse operations and design consultation.
