The Norfolk, Va.-based company’s latest assortment focuses on natural materials, richer wood finishes and deeper autumn colors. The new designs follow positive feedback on the expanded finish options featured in its spring collection, with the latest pieces combining varied colors and textures for coordinated interiors.
“This season, we are leaning heavily into more bursts of color and the return of warm, rich wood tones, intentionally layering wood-on-wood finishes and unexpected textures to bring a sophisticated depth to cohesive room designs,” said Stephanie Malette, vice president of merchandising.
The showroom updates include a new front window display highlighting the latest products, inspired by holiday displays at major city department stores. Wallpaper-covered floors and displays incorporating trending colors will further shape the presentation.
Furniture Classics has also created a multipurpose area furnished with its own products, giving buyers a place to take a break or meet with sales representatives. Features include a glass window element made with old oak and a 23-foot workstation constructed from repurposed teak.
Additional amenities will be available throughout the market. A photographer will provide complimentary professional headshots from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Buyers can also stop by a custom cold brew station in the morning or visit the new Classics Curated Bourbon Bar later in the day. The bar will offer bourbon tastings, including a private family reserve distilled in Virginia, accompanied by Virginia peanuts.
The bourbon bar also highlights the company’s craftsmanship. Built at Furniture Classics’ main factory, the custom three-tier structure uses reclaimed teak. The company said the design could offer a preview of a potential future product line but did not announce a launch.
The showroom changes are intended to bring product merchandising, informal meetings and hospitality together, allowing buyers to experience Furniture Classics’ designs in a range of settings during their visits.
Furniture Classics will exhibit in space C-502 at the International Home Furnishings Center.
