KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Mattress producer Mlily USA has donated 73 mattresses to support housing upgrades for homeless veterans through a service project connected to the annual ART Conference.
The donation went to Esperanza, a housing and social services organization in Tucson, Arizona, that serves homeless veterans and their families. The mattresses will be used to furnish and upgrade bedrooms across the nonprofit’s 14-acre housing campus. The contribution marks the third consecutive year that Mlily has supported service projects tied to the ART Conference.
Founded 35 years ago, Esperanza provides both transitional and long-term supportive housing designed to help veterans and their families achieve stability and independence.
Kyle Robertson, Mlily’s Chief Operating Officer, expressed the company’s honor in partnering with Esperanza to support veterans. He stated that Mlily is committed to serving communities across the country to promote better sleep and healthier lives, and will continue partnering with organizations and events like the ART Conference to make a difference.
The donation is part of Mlily’s broader community outreach efforts, which the company said have included support initiatives benefiting natural disaster survivors, first responders, people recovering from addiction, and homeless families. Mlily also continues its partnership with Special Spaces, a nonprofit that creates bedroom makeovers for children undergoing cancer treatment.
