Meet&CoTORONTO – Creative Matters has partnered with Reddie to introduce the new Vista rug collection, a series of custom handwoven rugs that blend contemporary aesthetics with traditional Afghan craftsmanship. The collection made its debut during Clerkenwell Design Week at Reddie’s newly opened London showroom, where selected Vista designs are now on display.
Handcrafted by skilled artisans in Afghanistan, the collection supports employment opportunities for Afghan women through community weaving centers and home-based production. For many of the artisans involved, weaving provides a critical source of income and financial independence for their families.
Each rug is woven using locally sourced Ghazni wool from mountain sheep and crafted with a detailed 45×45 Persian knot technique. The result is a richly textured finish that contrasts beautifully with the collection’s clean, urban-inspired patterns and geometric layouts.

The Vista range is available in multiple standard sizes, including 8’x10’, 9’x12’, 10’x14’ and 12’x15’, with custom sizing options also offered. The collection features nine distinctive designs — Promenade, Plaza, Skyline, Horizon, Boulevard, Acreage, Summit, Avenue and High Street — all of which can be tailored in various colorways to suit individual interiors.
Defined by layered geometric shapes, refined borders and understated patterns, the rugs combine modern design language with the warmth and authenticity of hand-knotted wool craftsmanship.
