RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. — South Bay International will introduce a new four-collection mattress lineup and a range of sleep technologies at the spring High Point Market, aiming to simplify retail merchandising and improve in-store conversion rates for its retail partners.
The company stated that its latest introductions are designed to provide retailers with a more cohesive floor presentation while addressing diverse consumer needs, including sustainability, recovery, cooling, and comfort.
Coordinated Four-Collection Program
At the core of the offering is a mattress program featuring four coordinated collections:
EcoCore – Focused on sustainable materials
ActiveAlign – Aimed at recovery and spinal alignment
AllureLuxe – Positioned as a premium offering
Sofinity – Emphasizing cooling and pressure relief
Together, the collections create a good-better-best assortment that can be merchandised as a unified story on the retail floor. Company officials noted that this approach simplifies the shopping experience for consumers and helps sales associates guide buyers through the selection process.
Technology Initiatives
South Bay will also highlight several technology advancements. AdaptZone, first introduced at Las Vegas Market, uses engineered foam to replicate the responsiveness of a spring system without traditional coils.
The company is expanding its adjustable base offerings with SleepEngine technology, developed in partnership with Cambridge Sleep Sciences, which uses audio-based programs designed to improve sleep quality.
Additionally, South Bay is showcasing ScanFit.ai, a data-driven tool that helps match consumers with appropriate mattress options based on individual needs and preferences. The company explained that the platform supports both shoppers and retail sales teams during the buying process.
South Bay’s High Point Market showroom is located at Furniture Plaza, space 510.
