NEW YORK — Rockview Management Group (RMG), a newly formed entity led by industry veterans Dorothy Belshaw, William Lacey, and Karen Olson, has acquired NY Now, the wholesale marketplace serving the gift, home, lifestyle, and accessories industries, from Emerald Holding.
Founded more than 100 years ago, NY Now has long been a cornerstone of the wholesale community, connecting brands and buyers in New York City. RMG will lead its next chapter, building on this foundation and positioning the brand for future growth. NY Now takes place twice annually at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, with the next event scheduled for August 2-4.
Belshaw, formerly of Andmore, brings 33 years of experience in the gift and trade show industry, including eight years as show director for NY Now. Her customer relationships and operational expertise position her to lead the show’s reinvention. Lacey contributes more than 30 years of CFO experience in mergers and acquisitions, while Olson brings over 28 years of experience in gift, home, and trade show industries, having led brand transformations during ownership changes.
Belshaw stated that NY Now has always held a special place in the industry, and after having spent many years leading the show, she knows firsthand the impact it can have when thoughtfully connected to industry needs. She expressed excitement about honoring its legacy while growing it with a focus on delivering meaningful outcomes for brands and buyers.
RMG’s transformation strategy includes expanding the resource offering with more established brands, strengthening exhibitor value by driving quality buyer attendance, elevating customer experience through collaboration with the Javits Center, reimagining the tradeshow floor, leveraging data and modern marketing strategies, and building long-term brand equity.
