DALLAS — Global Views, part of the Surya Inc. family of brands, will unveil its latest collaboration with Citizen Artist at the upcoming High Point Market, expanding on their ongoing partnership with a 50-piece collection spanning furniture, rugs, pillows, wall décor, lighting, and accents.
The collection draws inspiration from desert landscapes, pairing grounded architectural forms with softer, organic profiles in a palette of terracotta, soft ochre, sun-seared ivory, and verdigris. Surfaces across wood, stone, metal, and cast forms carry a mineral, textured, and time-worn aesthetic.
Key pieces include:
The Nomade Sofa – Reimagines the camelback silhouette, tracing the rise and fall of dunes.
The Wanderer Lounger – Low and expansive, featuring one continuous, sweeping gesture.
The Baobab Dining Table – Pairs with the Tamu seating collection (dining chair, counter stool, and bar stool) with generous, curved forms.
The Icarus Vase Collection – Handmade in Italy from terracotta.
The Scarab Mirror – Features a jute cord-wrapped iron frame with verdigris-finished accents.
Rafael Kalichstein, co-owner and principal of Citizen Artist, stated that the collection marks a new chapter in a partnership built on the shared conviction that design should carry meaning beyond function and presence beyond the moment.
Co-owner Joshua Rose added that the desert is personally woven into their histories and sense of beauty, and that Global Views brings exceptional ability to realize ambitious ideas across materials and cultures.
Satya Tiwari, President of Surya Inc., described the collaboration as a meaningful design partnership that brings an artist-led point of view into the company’s broader platform, with pieces that are both expressive in form and grounded in craftsmanship.
Global Views will host a launch celebration and meet-and-greet with Citizen Artist on Saturday, April 25, from 3-4 p.m. at its showroom in the International Home Furnishings Center, space D-220.
