ATLANTA — Posh+Lavish is expanding its luxury sleep portfolio with the nationwide launch of the Curated collection, a two-sided mattress line designed to enhance the brand’s aesthetic and merchandising appeal at retail.
The introduction marks an evolution for the company, which has built its reputation on latex-based constructions. By leaning further into ultra-premium materials and design, Posh+Lavish is responding to retailer demand for more elevated luxury offerings. The rollout is expected to help retailers trade customers up with a design-forward, story-driven assortment while maintaining the brand’s focus on natural materials and handcrafted appeal.
Kurt Ling, Principal of Posh+Lavish, described the Curated collection as a work of art and a testament to old-world European charm. He noted that it is the first two-sided mattress he has designed or sold in his more than 25-year career, making it uniquely special.
The collection features a monochromatic design with a quilted surface made from 100% organic sateen. The mattresses incorporate a blend of natural and specialty materials, including horsehair, alpaca, wool, cotton, and natural rubber, delivering durability and comfort without conventional polyurethane foams. The line also offers optional 3-inch and 4-inch true pillow top configurations, a category where the company has historically seen strong attachment rates.
Ling explained that while Posh+Lavish has focused for over a decade on zippered-cover mattresses with natural rubber cores, retailer feedback encouraged the brand to become even more of a luxury brand. He emphasized that luxury encompasses not only price point but also look, touch, and story.
The company’s products typically retail between $5,000 and $10,000, driven in part by pillow top add-on sales. With the Curated collection, Posh+Lavish is introducing exotic natural fibers like horsehair and alpaca to target consumers seeking alternatives to mass-produced polyurethane foam mattresses. Ling concluded that after more than 25 years, he has never designed a finer mattress.
