Meet&CoCORTE MADERA, Calif. — Top 100 retailer RH has announced two key executive appointments, adding the former president of a long-time manufacturing partner to its leadership team.
Veronica Schnitzius has joined the company as President and Chief Manufacturing and Sourcing Officer, while David Stanchak has returned as Chief Real Estate and Transformation Officer. Both executives report to Chairman and CEO Gary Friedman.
Schnitzius will lead RH’s efforts to build a global manufacturing platform encompassing owned, joint-ventured, and outsourced production for the company’s core furniture business, which accounts for 80% of RH brand revenues. She joins RH after a 24-year career at American Leather, a key manufacturing partner since 2014, where she served as president since 2017.
Friedman expressed enthusiasm for Schnitzius joining the team, noting that her leadership and energy as a manufacturing executive and collaborative partner have been evident throughout their decade-long partnership.
Schnitzius stated that she is excited to join RH in building a luxury furniture platform that controls quality from product ideation to presentation, calling the opportunity transformative and disruptive for the luxury furniture industry.
Stanchak returns to the role he held from 2015 to 2021, leading the company’s global real estate expansion and North American gallery transformation. He will oversee efforts to monetize RH’s substantial real estate portfolio across the United States and Europe.
Friedman noted that Stanchak’s leadership in expanding RH’s gallery platform and pioneering sale-leaseback projects helped position the brand as North America’s leading luxury home furnishings retailer.
With more than 40 years in real estate, Stanchak has held senior executive, investor, and advisory roles across high-growth retail brand development, having overseen more than 2,500 store openings and deployed over $2.5 billion in capital.
