For Elements International, the move aligns with its broader strategy of concentrating on high-growth product categories within its portfolio. According to Mike Wurster, the sale enables the company to streamline its focus while ensuring that the Style Line operation continues under an owner with strong experience in domestic furniture production.
Jonathan Louis, a family-owned company known for its upholstered furniture, sees the acquisition as an opportunity to expand its U.S. manufacturing network. By integrating the Mississippi facility into its operations, the company expects to strengthen distribution capabilities, extend its geographic reach and increase overall production capacity in the domestic market.
Advisory support for the transaction was provided by Mann, Armistead & Epperson, which acted as investment banker to Jonathan Louis during the deal process.
The acquisition reflects continued investment in U.S.-based manufacturing within the upholstery sector while providing a new chapter for Style Line under its incoming ownership.
