CERNOBBIO, Italy — Proposte, the international trade fair for furnishings fabrics and window curtains, will feature an expanded exhibitor lineup for its 2026 edition, including new participants from Belgium, Lithuania, and the United Kingdom.
Scheduled for May 5-7 at Villa Erba in Cernobbio, the event will host 87 exhibitors—an 11% increase over the previous year. Companies from 14 countries across four continents will participate, with 60% hailing from outside Italy.
The “Focus on Belgium” section will showcase 16 historic weaving mills, including first-time exhibitor Manchoni GSF. Other international newcomers include Audejas, the fair’s first Lithuanian participant, and Edinburgh Weavers from the UK.
Italian exhibitors remain a cornerstone of Proposte, with eight new domestic companies joining this year’s 33rd edition. Trevira CS by Indorama Ventures will appear as a special guest, representing innovative fabrics.
Massimo Mosiello, Director of Proposte, emphasized that the event remains intentionally selective, with exhibitors carefully chosen to ensure excellence and foster genuine business opportunities.
