SARASOTA, Fla. — DutchCrafters, an American-made Amish furniture brand, has opened applications for its 2026 Heritage Scholarship. Established in 2011, the program reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to community support by helping students fund their education.
For the 2026-2027 academic year, DutchCrafters will award three undergraduate students with $500 scholarships. Applicants must be currently enrolled or accepted for full-time enrollment at an accredited U.S. institution.
Founder and CEO Jim Miller, inspired by his own heritage when launching the company, built DutchCrafters on principles of integrity, sustainability, and authenticity—values that also shape the vision behind the Heritage Scholarship.
To apply, students must submit a statement of financial need and an essay exploring how their cultural heritage has influenced their career goals, how they will contribute to a future employer, and how they have given back to their community.
Applications are due by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on May 1, 2026. Scholarship recipients will be notified by email no later than July 12. Additional details and application materials are available online.
