DALLAS – After over five decades of defining luxury home goods retail, Horchow’s journey will soon come to an end.
Saks Global, which filed for bankruptcy on January 14, has confirmed it will shut down Horchow.com by February 19. A message on the website now directs visitors to NeimanMarcus.com, where they will continue to find the same luxury brands and products.

Founded as a catalog in 1973, Horchow made its digital debut in 2002 and quickly captured 20% of total sales through its online store. The platform specializes in premium furniture, home décor, lighting, rugs, outdoor furniture, and gifts, among other luxury home goods.
Acquired by Neiman Marcus in 1988, Horchow became part of Saks following its 2024 acquisition of Neiman Marcus in a $2.7 billion deal. Unfortunately, this transaction left Saks with significant debt, leading to ongoing closures as part of a debt-reduction strategy.
In addition to closing Horchow.com, Saks Global announced on February 10 the closure of eight Saks Fifth Avenue stores, 14 Fifth Avenue Club locations, and the Neiman Marcus store in Boston. The company is also scaling down its Off 5th and Last Call outlets to just a fraction of their former size.
