This means the blanket should cover approximately two-thirds of the sofa, rather than completely covering the entire sofa.
Another method is to fold the blanket lengthwise into thirds, then fold it in half again, and drape it over the backrest or armrest of the sofa.
This allows the edges of the blanket to naturally hang down onto the seat, slightly extending beyond the edge of the seat, providing both comfort and adding a layered look.
