SANTA MONICA, Calif. — The 10th edition of the WestEdge Design Fair concluded last month at Santa Monica’s Barker Hangar, attracting a record crowd of approximately 9,000 attendees over the course of three days.
The 2025 fair focused on themes of community resilience and wildfire recovery, emphasizing the importance of design in rebuilding Los Angeles following the January wildfires. With over 150 top-tier design and furniture brands showcased across 50,000 square feet, the event featured immersive exhibits, panel discussions, maker showcases, and special activations, all aimed at highlighting design innovation and community empowerment.
The Opening Night Party raised funds for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles, benefiting the ReBuild LA Recovery Fund. The evening also included the ReBuild Room Vignettes auction, where exclusive designer-curated spaces were sold, with proceeds supporting Habitat LA’s mission to provide housing for families affected by the wildfires.
WestEdge also partnered with Team Palisades, a local grassroots group formed after the January fires, to introduce the Team Palisades ReBuild Connect Zone. This new fair feature acted as a hub for design-driven solutions and discussions on recovery efforts for the LA community.
Other highlights from this year’s fair included a juried exhibition of contemporary makers, five outdoor vignettes, and the International Interior Design Association’s product and booth awards.
Looking ahead, the WestEdge Design Fair will return next year, set for October 29-31, 2026. For further details, check: https://westedgedesignfair.com/.
