Located at the Westfield Miranda shopping center, the store serves as a pivotal part of Bedgear’s strategy to raise brand awareness in a traditionally stagnant sleep category. In addition to the new store, the company has significantly grown its retail presence, with 50 new partner retail doors added this year. Bedgear also reports continued growth in e-commerce sales, driven by its Shopify Plus platform and localized marketing strategies, including sponsorships and public relations events.
Ross Stuart, Bedgear’s President of the Asia Pacific region, explained that the launch of this flagship store is strategically aligned with the company’s retail expansion. By offering consumers the chance to experience the brand firsthand, Bedgear is educating the market while also supporting its retail partners in driving sales.
The Sydney store will not only be a key part of Bedgear’s Australian operations but will also serve as a prototype for future retail locations in other international markets, including the U.S. The store’s emphasis on the brand’s cutting-edge Sleep ID fitting program will provide customers with a personalized sleep experience.
Eugene Alletto, Bedgear’s founder and CEO, emphasized that while the brand is tech-driven, the in-store experience offers customers a tangible way to understand how Bedgear’s products can enhance sleep quality. He stressed that the company’s mission is to provide tailored sleep solutions that cater to individual needs, ensuring comfort and recovery for everyone.
